南韓空軍教練機墜毀兩死

南韓空軍一架教練機失事墜毀，機上兩人全部喪生。南韓空軍5日表示，當地下午2時27分許，隸屬空軍第16戰鬥飛行團的T-59教練機，在慶尚北道醴泉郡的訓練基地起飛，計劃進行緊急著陸訓練，在起飛過程中墜毀。事故原因正在調查。T-59教練機為英國製造，長11.17米、寬9.39米、高3.99米，最高時速為1037公里，主要用於執行高級飛行訓練，以及戰時部分對地攻擊和巡邏任務。飛機可搭載30毫米機關炮和雷達預警系統等。南韓於1992年引入，目前共有16架正在服役。

Korean Air Force's T-59 Fighter Jet Crash Leaves 2 Dead

The Korean Air Force's T-59 trainer jet, crashed today, at around 2:30 p.m. Korea time, during a flight exercise, near Yecheon , North Gyeongsang Province.
The two pilots on board, Major Kwon and Major Park, died from the accident.
The trainer jet was practicing an emergency landing, when it exploded immediately after take-off, before landing into pieces on a nearby field.
The T-59 model, was first introduced in 1992, and was scheduled to retire, between 2012 and 2013.
The Korean Air Force is currently investigating the exact cause of the accident.
